Description
A native of Kashyyyk, a member of the Wookiee species, tall fur-covered beings of great physical strength. Owing his life to Han Solo, he bound his fate to Han for many years, sharing the work on the Millennium Falcon and following the rule of the life debt accepted among his people.
He wielded a bowcaster, understood machinery, and more than once repaired the ship during voyages. He took part in the rescue of Leia Organa, the defense of Hoth, the foray to Tatooine against Jabba, and the ground operation on the moon of Endor, where the Wookiees helped capture an Imperial walker.
After the fall of the Empire, he continued to accompany Solo, and later flew with Rey and the fighters of the Resistance. Unable to pronounce Galactic Basic, he communicated with growls that his longtime companions understood.
