Conveyex heist on Vandor

On snowy Vandor, Beckett's gang tries to lift a car of refined coaxium off a rail conveyex. The raid is disrupted by the Cloud-Riders led by Enfys Nest: Rio Durant is mortally wounded, and Val blows up the bridge along with herself. To avoid getting Beckett and Chewbacca killed, Han uncouples the car, and the cargo falls into the gorge and explodes.
Description
Tobias Beckett's gang worked for the criminal organization Crimson Dawn and received a contract for refined coaxium — an extremely unstable fuel needed for hyperdrives. The cargo was transported across a mountain range on Vandor by a rail conveyex — a train running on a suspended track and guarded by Imperial troops. Beckett brought in Han Solo and Chewbacca, who had recently escaped from Mimban, for the job. The plan was to couple the car carrying the cargo to a ship and detach it from the train while it was moving. The job was thwarted by a band of Cloud-Riders led by Enfys Nest, who had designs on the same cargo; in the fight on the roof of the train members of the gang were killed, and the car had to be dropped into a chasm to avoid an explosion that could have destroyed everyone. The cargo was lost, and Beckett was left owing Crimson Dawn a large sum. It was this debt that forced him to go to Dryden Vos and offer another job in exchange — obtaining unrefined coaxium from the mines of Kessel, which determined the course of subsequent events.
