Luke Skywalker

He grew up on Tatooine on the moisture farm of his uncle Owen and aunt Beru Lars, unaware of his origins. His fate changed after he encountered droids carrying a recorded message from Leia Organa: the young man joined Obi-Wan Kenobi, left his home planet, and entered the circle of the Rebel Alliance.

In the Battle of Yavin, he piloted a starfighter and struck the blow that destroyed the Death Star. Later, he continued his training with Master Yoda on Dagobah and learned that Darth Vader was his father and Leia his twin sister. On the second Death Star, he refused to kill his father and persuaded him to turn away from the Emperor.

After the fall of the Empire, he worked to restore the Jedi Order, but the fall of his apprentice led him to withdraw from affairs and live in seclusion on Ahch-To. There he took in Rey and passed some of his knowledge on to her, and then, through the Force, confronted the First Order's forces on Crait, allowing the rebels to escape, and became one with the Force.
