Profile
An ocean world with rocky islands, considered the birthplace of the Jedi Order. The first Jedi temple stood here and ancient texts were kept here. After the destruction of his academy, Luke Skywalker withdrew here into self-imposed exile, and Rey later arrived on the island.

Description
Ahch-To orbited a binary star and had one moon. The world consisted of oceans and rocky islands, and its location long remained a mystery: information about the origins of the Jedi Order pointed to such a planet, but no exact coordinates had survived.
The path to Ahch-To was reconstructed by Luke Skywalker after studying an ancient Jedi compass found in the Emperor's observatory on Pillio. During his own exile on the planet he long remained unfound: part of the map was kept in the databanks of an astromech droid that had retrieved it from the Imperial network many years earlier. Later Rey came here, underwent training and received from Skywalker information about the Order's past, and then left the planet to head for the First Order's flagship.
