Jacen Solo / Darth Caedus

Jacen Solo was the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo and the twin brother of Jaina, as well as the brother of Anakin Solo. He studied at the Jedi academy on Yavin 4, was fascinated by living creatures, and thought deeply about the nature of the Force, which set him apart from his pilot sister.

In the war with the Yuuzhan Vong, he took part in the raid on Myrkr, where his younger brother was killed; he himself was captured and endured prolonged torture. After the war he traveled for many years, studying various Force traditions, and returned with techniques alien to the New Jedi Order.

In the Second Galactic Civil War, he led the Galactic Alliance Guard and steered events toward a military dictatorship, taking the name Darth Caedus. He killed Mara Jade Skywalker and turned his family into enemies; he died at the hand of his own twin sister, Jaina.
