Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren learned to use the Force from his uncle in the reborn Jedi Order, but his break with his teacher resulted in the destruction of the temple and the deaths of the students. Taking a new name, he led the Knights of Ren and became a commander of the First Order, answering to Supreme Leader Snoke.

He wore a mask and a crossguard blade with lateral energy vents, and he could stop blaster bolts and pull thoughts from minds. He searched for the pointer to the way to Luke Skywalker, killed his father on Starkiller, and was defeated by Rey, after which he did away with Snoke and declared himself Supreme Leader.

He was bound to Rey by a direct connection through the Force. On learning that the returned Palpatine stood behind the First Order, and after an encounter with a vision of his father, he renounced his former path, returned to the name Ben Solo, helped Rey in the battle on Exegol, and gave her his life force.
