A senator and one of the key figures of the political opposition to the new Imperial order. She became one of the founders and leaders of the Rebel Alliance.

Description
A native of Chandrila, Mon Mothma entered the Galactic Senate at a young age. Already at the end of the Clone Wars, together with Bail Organa and other senators, she formed a circle opposed to the expansion of the Chancellor's emergency powers.
During the Imperial years she led a double life: publicly she remained a senator, while secretly she supported underground cells with money and information. After openly accusing the Emperor over the massacre on Ghorman, she lost any possibility of returning and went underground.
She brought the scattered resistance groups together into a single Alliance to Restore the Republic and headed its political leadership. She approved the decision to strike Scarif, and after the victory over the Empire she became the head of the New Republic.
