General Grievous

Grievous was a Kaleesh whose mutilated body had been encased in a mechanical shell: of the former being, only the eyes, some internal organs, and the brain remained. He could not use the Force, but he was trained in swordsmanship by Count Dooku and collected the lightsabers of slain Jedi as trophies, wielding two or four blades at once in combat thanks to his splitting mechanical arms.

The Confederacy of Independent Systems placed him in command of all its droid armies. He led offensives on many fronts of the Clone Wars, hunted down individual Jedi, and more than once escaped pursuit by fleeing; his cough and damaged lungs were the legacy of an old injury.

Near the end of the war, Grievous abducted Chancellor Palpatine from Coruscant but lost his captive and fled to Utapau. Obi-Wan Kenobi followed him there: in the duel, the Jedi knocked away his sabers and shot him with a blaster. Grievous's death coincided with the collapse of the Confederacy.
