Bogan
Profile
The dark moon of Tython, used by the Je'daii Order as a place of exile. Those who broke the balance and leaned toward one side of the Force were sent here to reflect in solitude until they regained their inner measure. It was on Bogan that Master Daegen Lok served his punishment, and the outsider Xesh was later exiled here.

Description
Bogan is one of the two moons of the planet Tython, the fifth in the system of the same name in the Deep Core. From orbit it appears predominantly rusty brown, and its atmosphere is breathable for humans. Together with the light moon Ashla it forms a pair, and by observing it the first settlers of Tython arrived at the idea of the two sides of the Force and of the need for balance between them; these sides were named after the moons.
In the second millennium after the settlement of Tython, inhabitants who could not feel the Force were resettled on both moons: they built stone cities here and then spread out across the other worlds of the system. Later Bogan was abandoned, and its structures fell into ruins.
By the era of the Je'daii Order the moon served as a place of exile. Those who leaned too far toward the dark side were sent here to reflect while contemplating the light of Ashla, and those who leaned toward the light side were sent to Ashla to contemplate Bogan.
