Exile of Daegen Lok to Bogan
The Je'daii Council did not believe Lok's vision and exiled him to the dark moon Bogan until he renounced the vision and restored his Balance.
Description
Around 25,800 BBY, Daegen Lok, confident in his abilities, abandoned the customary caution and descended into the Abyss, a chasm beneath the Anil Kesh temple that drove mad anyone who went too deep. Hawk Ryo was with him. Both were overtaken by a vision of the Force: an army of dark warriors with blades of frozen flame was marching across the forest world of Ska Gora, led by someone with a single red eye; they saw themselves at the head of Je'daii forces raised against this threat. The vision clouded Lok's mind and turned him to the dark side of the Force. He was brought for a hearing before the Je'daii Council, but the Council did not accept his conviction: it believed neither in the authenticity of the vision nor in the warning. Lok was exiled to the dark moon Bogan until he renounced what he had seen and returned to the Balance. No renunciation followed. Lok spent the next seven years in solitude, accumulating power in the dark side and carving an enormous image of himself with a blade of flame, as well as many drawings of this weapon. The foretold fall of Ska Gora did eventually take place.
