Description
As a child, Finn was taken from his family and raised by the First Order as a stormtrooper known only by a number. He trained under Captain Phasma and served in a sanitation unit until his very first combat mission, on Jakku, made him refuse to carry out orders.
He escaped together with the captured pilot Poe Dameron, who gave him his name, and soon joined Rey and her companions. He took part in the operation against Starkiller Base, where he fought Kylo Ren and was seriously wounded.
He went on to fight on the side of the Resistance: he tried to disable equipment aboard an enemy ship, fought on Crait, and took part in the expedition to Exegol. Over the course of these events, he discovered that he was Force-sensitive and persuaded other stormtroopers to desert.
