Description
Eiram is a terrestrial planet whose society was built around vast oceans. Its rivalry with its twin world E'ronoh was explained by the system's location: it served as a hyperspace waypoint, and both worlds sought to control it, which more than once led to wars over the course of their history.
In 382 BBY, Eiram was ruled by Queen Adrialla and Queen Consort Odelia. In the fifth year of another war, which had dragged on after the accidental death of Prince Niko A'lbaran over the planet's oceans, the queen struck a deal with the Mother of the Path of the Open Hand: in exchange for supplies, Eiram provided a venom obtained from a local scorpion. To end the war, Prince Phan-tu Zenn and Princess Xiri A'lbaran of E'ronoh entered into a marriage alliance. Later, under Queen Dima and Queen Consort Thandeka, the latter's abduction by the Directorate caused a new crisis, after whose resolution both worlds drew closer to the Republic and allowed Starlight Beacon to be built in their space.
