Clone Force 99

A unit of clones with nonstandard mutations, known as the “Bad Batch.” It included Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair; later the clone Echo and the young Omega joined the squad. Because of their altered genetics, Order 66 affected most of them differently than it did other clones.

After the proclamation of the Empire, the squad refused to serve the new order and went into hiding, scraping by with mercenary work on the fringes. Crosshair remained in Imperial service, which made him an adversary of his former comrades.

The squad repeatedly came up against the Imperial cloning program: its members fell into the hands of the Advanced Science Division, and then took part in the destruction of the base on Wayland and in the liberation of the clones held there, which put an end to the work on Project Necromancer.
