Sabine Wren

Wren studied at the Imperial academy on Mandalore and created weapons that she believed would serve peace, but they were turned against her family and her people. She left the planet, was declared a traitor by the Empire and by her own mother, Ursa Wren, the head of the clan, and for a time made a living as a bounty hunter with her friend Ketsu Onyo, until Hera Syndulla and the Jedi Kanan Jarrus invited her to join the crew of the ship Ghost. Her artwork became a hallmark of the early actions against the Empire.

In 2 BBY, while pursuing Maul, the deposed ruler of Mandalore, she found the Darksaber on Dathomir. At first Wren wanted nothing to do with it, but Jarrus and the Mandalorian Protector Fenn Rau persuaded her to take up the weapon in order to unite her people. She returned to her family, helped overthrow and kill the Imperial viceroy Gar Saxon, and took part in the Mandalorian civil war.

Later she and her comrades liberated Lothal; by then Jarrus had died, and Ezra Bridger had vanished into hyperspace along with the Star Destroyer Chimaera. In the years of the New Republic, Wren became a Jedi.
