Description
Peridea is a planet lying beyond the known galaxy. Its surface is occupied by war-scorched wastelands, steppes, plains, and lakes, and its atmosphere is breathable for humans, Chiss, Togruta, and Zabraks. The planet is surrounded by a ring made of purrgil bones: these creatures come here to die.
Peridea is the homeworld of the Noti people, who live in mobile settlements so that they can move away from dangers; howling predators and small winged lizards inhabit the wastelands. In ancient times a fortress stood here that was occupied by the daughters of Dathomir, who made the planet the center of their sorcerous kingdom, which later fell apart.
The path to Peridea was described in legends, and its starting point was indicated by a star map connected with the planet Seatos. An Imperial Grand Admiral and a young Jedi were carried here by a pod of purrgil, and later those searching for them arrived as well.
