Search for Ezra Bridger
Warning: this entry reveals minor plot details.
The apprentice never gave up hope of finding her missing friend, who had carried the enemy away beyond the galaxy.
Description
During the liberation of Lothal, the Jedi Ezra Bridger summoned purrgil and departed into hyperspace together with Grand Admiral Thrawn; both were considered missing. After the war, Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano took up the search. For a time Tano trained Wren in the ways of the Jedi together with the droid Huyang, but the mentorship broke off, and Wren remained on Lothal, settling in Bridger's former refuge, a communications tower. The search for their comrade proved inseparable from preventing a new war: the same trail led to a conspiracy of Imperial remnants preparing Thrawn's return. The key was an ancient map of the route to another galaxy, over which a struggle unfolded on Lothal and on Seatos. The search ended on Peridea, where Wren and Tano found Bridger alive after nearly a decade of exile. They were unable to prevent Thrawn's escape, and Bridger left the planet aboard his Star Destroyer, while Tano and Wren remained on Peridea.
