Rooper Nitani
Profile
A human woman, Padawan and later Jedi Knight of the High Republic era. A student of Silandra Sho and a native of the planet Rom. She flew with her master on the Pathfinder team, persuaded the Katikoot to accept the Jedi's help and took part in the search for the missing expedition on the planet Gloam.

Description
Nitani joined the Jedi Order at an early age, and around 389 BBY, at eight years old, she became the Padawan of Master Silandra Sho. Her master valued in her not only her command of the Force but also her ability to negotiate: during an expedition into the Dalnan sector, undertaken because of the disappearance of Rok Buran's team, Sho specifically praised her student for her diplomacy.
On expeditions Nitani more than once took her place at the ship's gun, during a chase in hyperspace and later while covering the ship as a navigation buoy was being redeployed in Dalnan space. It also fell to her to lead a droid out of danger in a cave and to search there for her master's lost shield.
After passing her trials and becoming a Knight, around 377 BBY Nitani, together with Sho and the droid P3-7A, infiltrated the floating city of Penumbra, where she thwarted an arms deal between the Bright Circle and pirates. After the mission, on her master's advice, she went to Jedha, to the Enlightenment tavern, to visit the friends of a fallen comrade.
