Description
Convergence is a canon adult novel by Zoraida Córdova, published by Del Rey on November 22, 2022, as part of the second phase of the multimedia initiative Star Wars: The High Republic.
The second phase takes the narrative into the past, generations before the events of Light of the Jedi. It is a time of exploration: the Jedi travel the galaxy studying the Force and the worlds it connects, while the Republic, governed by two chancellors, brings more and more systems into the fold. The story focuses on the neighboring planets Eiram and E'ronoh, whose long-standing feud over limited resources threatens to spill over into nearby systems; the hope for peace becomes a marriage alliance between the heirs of the two ruling houses. The characters include the Jedi Knight Gella Nattai.
The novel opens the line of adult books in the second phase and is directly connected to the novel Cataclysm, which continues the same story arc.
