The New Jedi Order: The Unifying Force

The Unifying Force is a novel by James Luceno, first published by Del Rey on November 4, 2003. The book belongs to Star Wars Legends and is the nineteenth and final volume of The New Jedi Order cycle, begun by Vector Prime.

The story concludes the war with the Yuuzhan Vong to which the entire cycle is devoted and ties together the storylines developed by many authors over the four years of the series' publication. The narrative features the heroes of the classic trilogy and the new generation of Jedi, as well as the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and its opponents.

The hardcover edition came with a disc containing an electronic version of Vector Prime, a timeline of the cycle, and a roundtable discussion with its creators. The novel brings to a close one of the largest book projects of the Expanded Universe and precedes the subsequent Legends cycles Dark Nest and Legacy of the Force.
