Zonama Sekot

Zonama Sekot is a sentient planetary body with no permanent place in the galaxy: over the course of its history it has been in the Tingel Arm of the Outer Rim, in the Unknown Regions, and briefly in the Coruscant system. The planet was about eleven thousand kilometers in diameter, had no moons, its climate remained temperate, and its surface was covered by rainforests, mountains, rivers, small seas, and polar caps.

The planet was inhabited by the Ferroans and the Langheesh, and its government combined elections with the will of the world itself. Ships that bonded with their pilots were grown here, and customers came from all corners of the galaxy for them.

Later, the Yuuzhan Vong settled on Zonama Sekot, accepted by the planet and making up a significant share of its population, and the world itself withdrew deep into the Unknown Regions, where its location remained uncertain.
