Sophros

A planet in Wild Space on the edge of the Galactic Frontier, near the Unknown Regions. Its name translates as “Balance”; the hyperspace prospector Radicaz Dobbs nicknamed it Planet X, and the planet itself was considered a world without a true name.

The world is alive in its entirety, from the stones to the skies, and is a vergence in the Force, a place where the energies of both the light and the dark side converge. The planet is diverse, colorful, and inhabited by many creatures, including the so-called underground dwellers.

The creatures previously considered mindless animals are in fact sentient, though not in the usual sense: they channel these energies through themselves and keep them in balance. When Marchion Ro took them away from the planet, they went mad and became monstrous from hunger and captivity. After what she had experienced on the planet, Marda Ro, the leader of the Open Hand, preferred to think of it as a nameless place.
