Expedition for the Nameless

The plan was based on the legend of a lost world known as Planet X, supposedly a paradise rumored among hyperspace prospectors. The first to reach it was the prospector Radicaz Dobbs, nicknamed Sunshine, who traveled there with the guides Spence Leffbruk and his son Dass. On the way back, Dobbs betrayed his companions: he abandoned them on the ravaged world of Gloam, taking the ship, and delivered to the Mother, leader of the Path of the Open Hand, an egg obtained on the lost planet, the egg of a creature the cult called the Nameless. These creatures drained and killed Force wielders, which made them an ideal weapon against the Jedi for the Path. Having obtained a specimen, the cult organized a new expedition to acquire such creatures in greater numbers. It was they who were later unleashed against the Jedi in the decisive clash on Dalna, and rumors of the mysterious planet long remained a lure for prospectors charting new routes.
