Mustafar

Mustafar is a small Outer Rim planetoid whose surface is cut through by flows of molten rock and volcanic fissures. Work here was carried out on fortified platforms and in mining complexes that supplied rare raw materials to industrial conglomerates.

At the end of the Clone Wars the leaders of the Confederacy of Independent Systems were taken to the planet, where they were eliminated, which put an end to organized Separatist resistance. At the same time, on the banks of the lava rivers, a duel took place between a former apprentice and his mentor that determined the fate of both.

Later a fortress was built on Mustafar, serving as a secluded refuge for one of the highest figures of the Empire, and the planet remained a world closed to outsiders.
