Cato Neimoidia

The planet belongs to the Colonies region and is part of the Quellor sector. It is a “purse world” of the Neimoidians and the capital of its own planetary government, as well as the site of the Trade Federation's headquarters. The planet joined the Galactic Republic approximately twenty-five thousand years before the Battle of Yavin.

The surface is hidden by constant mist. From turbulent acidic oceans with geysers rise enormous stone arches, cliffs, and canyons on which forests and grasses grow, and bridge cities are suspended between the arches. The planet had a university where engineers were trained.

The world was also known for its opera. One of the last battles of the Clone Wars took place on Cato Neimoidia.
