Death of Master Torbin on Olega

Master Torbin, who many years earlier had taken the Barash vow and withdrawn from affairs, lived as a recluse in a Jedi temple on the planet Olega. It was to him that the assassin Mae-ho Aniseya went — the second on her list of four Jedi whom she held responsible for the destruction of her coven. Her first attempt to get into the temple failed and only revealed her location to Master Sol's team, which was investigating Master Indara's murder. The Jedi, however, were unable to prevent her second infiltration: Mae-ho obtained a meeting with Torbin and offered him bunta poison, which he took voluntarily, ending his own life. From the freshness of the poison, the Jedi determined that it had been prepared recently and tracked down the assassin's accomplice Qimir, who had set himself up in a local apothecary shop. By passing off Mae-ho's sister as Mae-ho herself, the Jedi learned from Qimir both about the list of victims and that the assassin had a master. Cornered, Mae-ho was disarmed by Sol in hand-to-hand combat but managed to escape by raising a cloud of dust.
