Relocation of the Path to Jedha

The moon Jedha was revered as a center of faith: dozens of cults operated in its Holy City, the Convocation of the Force, which united the movements connected with the Force, was at work there, and pilgrims flocked there from all over the galaxy. For the Path of the Open Hand, which preached that the Force must not be used, this was an ideal field for preaching and recruitment. The cult moved part of its activities to the moon, opening a house of healing there that took in those in need, and at the same time prepared a move against the very structure of Jedha's religious life. The Path's Herald appealed to the Convocation of the Force with a demand that it disband and ban any use of the Force, and upon being refused, addressed the crowd in the square in front of the Convocation's chambers. The sermon erupted into riots directed against the Jedi and Force wielders in general. The cult's presence on the holy moon and the signing of a peace treaty between Eiram and E'ronoh that coincided with it later resulted in bloodshed in the Holy City.
