Entombment of Nadd's remains on Dxun

c. 3998 BBYApproximate dateLast checked: 23 October 2026

After the Naddists are crushed, the Jedi move the sarcophagi to the jungle moon behind slabs of Mandalorian iron.

Description

Freedon Nadd's tomb was originally located on Onderon beneath the royal palace in Iziz and for centuries served as a focus of dark side energy used by his descendants on the throne. It was precisely the relic's proximity to the ruling house that allowed the spirit of the Sith lord to influence the planet's politics, and after the suppression of the Naddist uprising, the Jedi considered it impossible to leave the sarcophagi where the city cult had access to them. The decision to move them was made by Master Arca Jeth, who had led the operation from the very beginning: even before the uprising he had tried to remove the remains from the capital, and it was precisely the attempt to move the sarcophagi that provoked the Naddist revolt. After the cult was crushed, the plan was carried through: the tomb was placed on Dxun, Onderon's jungle-covered moon, access to which was hampered by its predatory fauna and the peculiarities of its orbit. The measure provided only a reprieve. During the uprising itself, the aristocrats Satal and Aleema Keto had arrived on Onderon and obtained Sith knowledge and artifacts, and the tomb on Dxun later again drew those who sought the legacy of the dark side.
