Arrival of the Tho Yor ships
Pyramid-shaped ships gathered Force-sensitives from various worlds and carried them to a single planet.
Description
Eight octahedron-shaped ships, known as the Tho Yor, gathered Force-sensitive members of various species on many worlds and took them to the planet Tython in the Deep Core. This resettlement became known as the First Migration, and the year itself became the starting point of a calendar designated ATC, “After Tho Yor Arrival.” After landing, the ships dispersed across the planet and set down their passengers in different regions. At the arrival sites the settlers built cities and temples, and the Tho Yor themselves remained near these structures: some of them hovered above the ground for centuries, while others ended up buried in the soil. The Je'daii Order formed from among those who had arrived. More than a thousand years later the Second Migration took place: inhabitants who were not Force-sensitive, for whom Tython was dangerous, left the planet and settled its moons, and then the other worlds of the system. The purpose of the ships themselves was revealed only during the Force Wars, when members of the Order discovered that a large amount of Force energy could be channeled into the Tho Yor, turning them into weapons for the planet's defense.
