Death of Governor Ghez Hokan on Qiilura

Ghez Hokan was a Mandalorian mercenary who served first as chief enforcer for the Neimoidian representative of the Trade Federation on Qiilura and then went over to the service of the Confederacy. He personally killed Jedi Master Kast Fulier with his own lightsaber and kept the weapon, using it to punish subordinates who had fallen out of favor. His deal with the Separatists gave him military authority over the planet and the temporary rank of major, and with it the task of guarding the secret laboratory of Doctor Ovolot Qail Uthan, who was developing a virus targeting clones. When a squad of clone commandos landed on the planet, Hokan led the manhunt, long unaware that he was facing only four soldiers. The climax came when Niner pretended to be badly wounded; the mercenary stepped toward him to finish him off with a vibroblade. At that moment, Padawan Etain Tur-Mukan, the apprentice of Fulier, whom Hokan had killed, struck from behind and beheaded him. The commando Fi took his armor as a trophy and later wore it himself.
