Duel on Brendok
On Brendok, Master Sol fought a duel with the Sith known as the Stranger, while the sisters Mae-ho and Verosha settled their differences in the fortress and a team of Jedi led by Vernestra Rwoh hurried toward the planet.
Description
Having survived the massacre on Khofar, Master Sol went to Brendok — the planet where, sixteen years earlier, the events that determined the fate of the Aniseya sisters had taken place. The Sith known as the Stranger also arrived there, and Master Vernestra Rwoh and Padawan Mog Adana, with a team of Jedi, set off after them in search of Sol himself. The duel began in the corridors of the Brendok fortress and moved onto the bridge where the scouts had once stood. The Stranger split his saber into two blades and fought in the trakata style, alternately extinguishing and reigniting the blade. At the same time, inside the fortress, the sisters Mae-ho and Verosha confronted each other while uncovering the truth about the destruction of their coven. The Sith emerged victorious: Sol was killed by Verosha, who had learned of his role in past events, while the Stranger, who had lost his lightsaber in the fight, erased sixteen years from Mae-ho's memory and left the planet together with Verosha. Vernestra Rwoh, upon arriving, placed the blame for the deaths of Masters Indara, Torbin, and Kelnacca on the late Sol and began a search for the Stranger.
