Fennec Shand

Hailing from the Mid Rim, Shand took up bounty hunting around 19 BBY, when the Clone Wars had just ended. In one of her first contracts, she ran into the veteran of the trade Cad Bane: both had been hired to bring in a clone named Omega, and the hunt ended for Shand without her quarry. She went on to work for the largest syndicates of the underworld, including the Hutt clan, and became known as a calculating and ruthless operative.

After the fall of the Empire, many of her employers ended up in New Republic prisons, and Shand, left without contracts, became a fugitive herself. She hid in the deserts of Tatooine until she was tracked down by the Mandalorian Din Djarin and the rookie Toro Calican; Calican shot his captive and left her to die. Boba Fett, who saved her, made Shand his partner.

Together with Fett she traveled to Tython for his armor, helped Djarin seize Moff Gideon's cruiser and rescue Grogu, and then returned to Tatooine, where the partners took over Jabba's former palace.
