War against the Pyke Syndicate on Tatooine

Having assumed the position of daimyo of Mos Espa, Boba Fett restricted the profitable trades of the local crime families, above all the spice trade. The Pyke Syndicate, which controlled this traffic, responded with open pressure: the destruction of Garsa Fwip's Sanctuary was a direct challenge to the new authority. Fett took up a defensive position in the ruins of the Sanctuary together with Fennec Shand and Din Djarin, counting on the arrival of the residents of Freetown, whose marshal, Cobb Vanth, opposed the spice trade. The Pyke negotiator Cad Bane reported that Freetown had already been dealt with and demanded surrender. At the same time, the city's three crime families broke the truce and attacked the gotra's forces in the alleys and on the upper levels. The climax came in a street battle: the residents of Freetown did arrive to help, the Pykes' annihilator droids were destroyed, Bane was killed, and the syndicate's leadership was eliminated in Mos Eisley. The Pyke boss ordered the survivors to withdraw and pull their operations out of Tatooine.
