Description
Outcast is a novel by Aaron Allston, released on March 24, 2009, by Del Rey in hardcover and as an audiobook; the paperback edition appeared on April 27, 2010. The book belongs to Star Wars Legends and opens the nine-volume cycle Fate of the Jedi.

As with the previous cycle, Aaron Allston, Karen Traviss, and Troy Denning worked on it, later joined by Christie Golden.
The edition includes an excerpt from the next novel in the cycle, Omen. The audio version is read by Marc Thompson, who had previously narrated the Legacy of the Force books.
