The Lando Calrissian Adventures

The Lando Calrissian Adventures is a cycle of three short novels by American writer L. Neil Smith, published by Del Rey in 1983: Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, and Lando Calrissian and the StarCave of ThonBoka. In 1994 all three books were gathered under one cover as an omnibus volume.

The cycle belongs to the Expanded Universe and received Legends status after 2014. The story unfolds long before the events of the classic trilogy and is devoted to the young Lando Calrissian, a gambler, adventurer, and owner of the Millennium Falcon, during the period before he became administrator of Cloud City. The hero's constant companion in these books is the navigator droid Vuffi Raa.

The books are written in the spirit of a picaresque space adventure and differ noticeably in tone from the military storyline of the main saga. Together with The Han Solo Adventures, they form an early wave of Expanded Universe literature devoted to secondary characters from the films.
