Search for the Mindharp in the Rafa system

The five-limbed droid Vuffi Raa was created to explore the galaxy but fell into the hands of the shapeshifting sorcerer Tund Rokur Gepta and was reprogrammed. Gepta handed him over to his henchman Osuno Whett, who used the droid in preparing the invasion of Renatasia; after the massacre, a nickname stuck to Vuffi Raa, and he was hidden in the Rafa system. Whett lost the droid at sabacc to Lando Calrissian, who set off for the Rafa system to collect his winnings. There he was hired to search for the Mindharp — a device left behind by the vanished Sharu civilization, whose colossal pyramids covered the planets of the system. Calrissian found the harp in the largest pyramid, but Vuffi Raa, programmed in advance for betrayal, turned him over to the local authorities; the harp was taken away, and Calrissian himself was arrested on a trumped-up charge and sentenced. The proceedings ended with Calrissian's release, and Vuffi Raa managed to overcome the programming embedded in him and remained the gambler's companion. A chance win grew into a long partnership, and the mystery of the droid's origin shaped their subsequent adventures.
