Description
Wayyl is a planet that was part of the Galactic Republic and had representation in the Galactic Senate decades before 32 BBY. Its interests were championed by Senator Dagonet, one of the longest-serving members of the Senate.
From space, the world looks gray-green: its surface is occupied by open fields of grayish earth with groves of trees and sparse vegetation, as well as a large ocean and many lakes and rivers. Among the inhabitants were humans, Twi'leks, Rodians, Pantorans, Aqualish, and Arcona.
The planet is connected with a mission entrusted to Jedi Master Dooku and his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn: they were to find the senator's kidnapped son. The investigation led them to a village near a forest and abandoned fields, whose inhabitants had resorted to the kidnapping because of a long-ago crime that had gone unpunished.
