Tenupe

Tenupe is a mountainous planet with a tropical climate in the system of the same name, located in the Utegetu Nebula in Wild Space, on the Sparkle Run route. The world's surface is cut by several inland seas, and a moon known as the Shattered Moon orbits it.

For a long time, the planet was under the control of the Killiks, a sentient insectoid species whose expansion from the Utegetu Nebula led to a large-scale conflict. In 36 ABY, during the Swarm War, Tenupe was captured by the Chiss: the battle for the planet became one of the significant episodes of that war.

Tenupe is also connected with the fates of individual participants in those events: Jagged Fel and Alema Rar spent two years on the planet, cut off from the galaxy after the Dark Nest Crisis, and took a Twi'lek story chain away from there. Fel himself described Tenupe as an extremely dangerous world.

The planet first appeared in the novel Dark Nest III: The Swarm War and was later mentioned in the books of the Legacy of the Force series: Tempest, Exile, Inferno, Fury, and Invincible.
