Ruusan

Ruusan is a Mid Rim planet that lost its significance for a long time after the Ruusan campaign. During the Clone Wars, the Separatists briefly placed a spy post above one of the planet's moons, but it was soon destroyed. By the era of the Galactic Empire, the world remained almost forgotten.

In 11 BBY, Ruusan was rediscovered by the smuggler Jerg, after which the planet was used by the sector's independent pilots, traders, and fugitives; a year later, smugglers built Fort Nowhere. In 1 BBY, rebel refugees from Sulon resettled here, following Jerg and Morgan Katarn. The colonists lived by cave farming and raising gra, rarely venturing into the wastelands and having almost no contact with the local Bouncers. Later, more than a year after the start of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the planet was captured and remained under their rule until the end of the war.
