Poln Major

Poln Major is a planet in the Poln system, belonging to the Candoras sector in the Outer Rim, in grid square J-5 of the standard galactic grid. Its location far from the central regions of the galaxy determined its position as a key world in this sparsely developed area.

Poln Major served as the administrative center of its area: the local government was located here, which made the planet a focal point of administration and a point of interest for outside forces seeking to control this part of the Outer Rim.

Poln Major first appeared in the novel Choices of One and was later depicted in the reference book The Essential Reader's Companion. The amount of surviving information about the planet is small: the sources record its location, its membership in the Candoras sector, and its role as an administrative center, while details of its geography, population, and economy remain undescribed.
