Obroa-skai

A planet of the Obroa-skai system, occupying an advantageous position in the Borderland Regions of the Inner Rim. Its nature combines tundras, mountains, steppes, and deserts; a day lasts twenty-six standard hours, and a year four hundred fifty-six local days.

Over the centuries, the world acquired a reputation as a repository of knowledge: it was believed that the computer systems of its information collections brought together the entirety of galactic knowledge. In 16,782 BBY, the Celebratus archive was founded here, with the task of collecting complete data on more than three hundred thousand species. No later than 990 BBY, a Jedi academy specializing in the collection and analysis of data operated on the planet.

An extensive collection of Jedi antiquities was destroyed by the Imperial Security Bureau, and by 4 ABY the planet had become an Imperial fortress world.
