Description
A reddish-orange planet of the Mid Rim, located in the Deneba system on the Gamor Run trade route.
In 3,997 BBY, a gathering of Jedi devoted to discussing a growing threat took place here on the summit of Mount Meru. The meeting was interrupted by an attack by the Krath cult; Jedi Master Arca Jeth was killed during the attack.
The death of Arca Jeth on Deneba led some of the Knights to become disillusioned with the Order and made it easier for Exar Kun to win them over to his side. The planet is also known for the Denebian shrub that grew on it.
