Fall of Ska Gora
Driven back from Tython, the Rakata seized the forest world of Ska Gora, where many Je'daii died, after which the Settled Worlds united with the Order.
Description
Ska Gora was the eighth planet of the Tython system, orbiting the star Tythos, with one moon and a temperate climate; it was one of the Settled Worlds. Its fall had been foretold long before the events: as early as 25,800 BBY, Daegen Lok and Hawk Ryo, having descended into the Abyss on Tython, saw the conquest of this world in a vision of the Force, although the vision itself deprived Lok of his reason. The capture took place after the Rakata had been driven back from Tython during the invasion that began around 25,793 BBY. Having failed to take the order's planet, the Infinite Empire fell upon Ska Gora. Many members of the Je'daii Order died in the fighting for the forest world. The loss of the planet changed the balance of forces within the system: the other Settled Worlds, which had previously regarded the order with distrust, united with the Je'daii for common defense. For the Rakata, Ska Gora became a staging ground: as early as 25,792 BBY they moved from there against Shikaakwa.
