Uriel Dagonet

Uriel Dagonet was a human, a young man, the son of Galactic Republic Senator Dagonet. He lived on the planet Wayyl. He is described as fair-skinned, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Sometime between 68 and 42 BBY, Uriel was kidnapped. The kidnappers turned out to be members of the planet's lower classes, who sought in this way to draw Senator Dagonet's attention to the state of affairs on his homeworld: its corruption and the neglect of its inhabitants' needs. Two Jedi, Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn, were responsible for returning the young man to his father.

The experience made Uriel see what was happening on Wayyl, and his own family's role in it, differently, which shaped his subsequent stance toward the planet's poorest inhabitants.

The character first appeared in the episode Justice of the animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. The name Uriel Dagonet was first assigned to him in the 2024 Star Wars: Card Trader card set.
