Rose Tico

Rose Tico was born around 11 ABY on Hays Minor, a poor mining colony in the Otomok system, where she grew up with her parents, Hue and Thanya, and her older sister, Paige. As children, the sisters practiced on their grandmother Etta's flight simulator, watched holodramas, and followed fathier races.

Paige served in the Resistance as a gunner and was killed in the battle at D'Qar. Soon afterward, Rose set out with Finn and the droid BB-8 for Canto Bight in search of a “master codebreaker,” hoping to disable the hyperspace tracker aboard the First Order's flagship; instead, their companion became a criminal nicknamed DJ, who betrayed them. In the battle on Crait she saved Finn's life and was carried away unconscious aboard the Millennium Falcon.

The following year, Tico took charge of the Resistance's engineering corps. After the announcement of Darth Sidious's return, she remained on Ajan Kloss to study the schematics of old Star Destroyers, and she then joined the boarding party that landed on the Star Destroyer Steadfast at Exegol.
