A human woman of the Starros family and a gifted young inventor of the High Republic era. She worked in a laboratory on the planet Haileap with the scientist Glenna Kip and was kidnapped by Nihil raiders during the sacking of Port Haileap.

Description
Avon was born around 244 BBY into a family belonging to the Starros clan; her mother was Galactic Republic Senator Ghirra Starros. As a child the girl was kidnapped, but she was rescued by her uncles, who dealt with the kidnappers. Her mother sent her daughter to the remote outpost of Port Haileap, hoping to keep her out of trouble and to make her appreciate life on Coruscant; the Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh was assigned to supervise her, and the protocol droid J-6 remained her constant companion.
Shortly after the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Avon flew with Rwoh to the dedication of Starlight Beacon; after the explosions on board, she, the Padawan Imri Cantaros, and Honesty Weft fled in a shuttle and ended up on the moon of Wevo.
Later she was known as Avon Sunvale. On the planet Ingae she gave birth to a daughter, Felix, and there she also taught a girl named Florinda Jaccard to grow artificial crystal matrices. She died there as well; Lompop and Vernestra Rwoh attended the farewell.
