Enfys Nest

Enfys Nest was born in 27 BBY into a family in which the women had taken up arms for generations. Her homeworld had suffered at the hands of the Five Crime Syndicates, and she harbored a special enmity toward Crimson Dawn. In 11 BBY her mother, who led the Cloud-Riders, was killed, and the sixteen-year-old Nest took up her mask, armor, and place at the head of the group. The helmet and vocoder concealed her age and appearance, thanks to which she gained notoriety as a dangerous marauder.

In 10 BBY the Cloud-Riders competed with Tobias Beckett's crew over a shipment of coaxium: after both sides failed on Vandor, Nest and her lieutenant Weazel tracked the loot to Kessel and caught up with it on Savareen. There she explained that her group were not marauders but allies, and together with Han Solo she took the coaxium from the syndicate. She handed the cargo over to Saw Gerrera and his ward Jyn Erso in order to support the future rebellion.
