The Hand of Judgment squad repelled three attacks by Esva's forces, and Mara Jade freed the governor's wife and daughter and decided not to accuse him of treason.

Darth Vader's fleet, led by the Executor, launched a surprise attack on the rebels, heavily damaging the flagship and wounding Leia Organa. Coming to his senses, Sol persuaded the scout Tungo Li to send the ships into hyperspace at random, which saved the fleet at the cost of heavy losses.
c. 0 ABYSkirmish on Shelkonwa and the execution of Governor ChoardShelsha sector governor Barshnis Choard and his administrator Vilim Disra were preparing to take the sector out of the Empire with the help of pirates. Leia Organa, who had come for negotiations, was betrayed by Disra, and the Executor arrived at the capital, Makrin City, with the 501st Legion. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo got Leia out, and Mara Jade and the Hand of Judgment squad eliminated the traitor Choard.
c. 2 ABYDuel in the Temple of PomojemaAt the Temple of Pomojema on Mimban, Darth Vader got ahead of the crystal seekers and fought Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker at once. He defeated Organa and knocked Skywalker down, but lost his right arm to a lightsaber strike and lost the fight. After obtaining the crystal, Skywalker healed himself and Organa.
c. 2 ABYSearch for the Kaiburr crystal on MimbanLuke Skywalker and Leia Organa crash-landed on the swampy planet Mimban, also known as Circarpous V. There, the old seeker Halla showed them a shard of the Kaiburr crystal and a map to the Temple of Pomojema. The crystal, which amplified the abilities of a Force-sensitive near the temple, became the goal of a joint expedition.

Rogue Squadron under Luke Skywalker had to tie up the Imperial fighters while Rendar, Calrissian, and Organa fought their way to Fett's ship. Fett escaped, and the battle ended in a draw.
c. 3.5 ABYDeath of Prince Xizor and destruction of his skyhookThe Falleen prince Xizor, underworld lord of the Black Sun syndicate, tried to eliminate Luke Skywalker in order to take Darth Vader's place beside the Emperor. While Palpatine was inspecting the second Death Star, Vader intercepted an incriminating message and ordered the Executor to destroy the orbital skyhook station above Coruscant. Xizor died along with the station.
c. 4 ABYFreeing of Han SoloFriends freed their frozen comrade from the hands of a crime clan on a desert planet.

c. 4 ABYBakura joins the new rebel governmentAfter the defeat of the Ssi-ruuk and the liberation of the planet, the government of Bakura joined the union that had succeeded the Alliance. To deter further invasions, a task force was sent to the Ssi-ruuk star cluster. The Alliance itself was soon reorganized into the Alliance of Free Planets, the forerunner of the New Republic.
c. 4 ABYBattle of Bakura and the truce with the EmpireShortly after Endor, the Alliance intercepted an Imperial probe carrying a call for help from Bakura's governor Wilek Nereus, whose planet was under attack by the reptilian Ssi-ruuk. The rebels and the Imperial garrison concluded a temporary truce and together repelled the invasion, after which Nereus broke the agreement and attacked his allies. His death, an uprising of the Bakurans, and the defection of commander Pter Thanas to the Alliance led to the surrender of the Imperial garrison.
