Sources

Every claim in the archive must be verifiable. This page describes what we rely on and how to check an entry yourself.

What counts as a source

The archive is built on the canon works themselves: films, series, novels and comics. An event is described from what they show, not from the generalisations of recaps.

  • the works of fiction — the primary source of facts;
  • official Lucasfilm reference material — the structure of the eras and dating;
  • community encyclopedias — navigation and finding the right episode.

How to verify an entry

Every event page has a section naming the primary work and the wording of the verifiable claim. That is enough to open the work and see for yourself.

If a claim says more than the source shows, that is an editorial error — please report it.

When sources disagree

Dates and details sometimes contradict one another: reference books were published in different years, and some material was revised. Such entries are marked as disputed, and the disagreement stays visible instead of being hidden behind one chosen version.

Images

Stills from the works and official artwork are not published in the archive: the rights to them belong to their rights holders. The visual design uses original graphics created for this project.

Limitations

The archive does not cover the whole universe and grows gradually. A missing event means it has not been described yet, not that it never happened. The coverage report shows which eras and works are still empty.
