Savareen

A planet of the Outer Rim lying on one of the branches of the Kessel Run. The surface consists of sandy continents and vast oceans. The world is also known for its brandy, and the former pirate queen Maz Kanata noted it as a remarkable place on the map in a book that became known as the Smuggler's Guide.

Until 10 BBY, the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn did business here; when the local inhabitants tried to rebel, their tongues were cut out. To the same time belongs the story of the settlement of Dry Gulch, which was harassed by the Bellwing gang: the inhabitants hired the mercenary Gallandro, promising him ten thousand credits and the right to siphon off unrefined coaxium.

After the raid on Kessel, Han Solo and the other members of Beckett's crew came to Savareen to refine the mined coaxium. Here they were met by Enfys Nest and her Cloud-Riders, after which Solo decided to double-cross Dryden Vos; Tobias Beckett refused to take part in this.
