Profile
An ocean moon with a rocky surface, used by the Empire as a prison world. Its flooded levels housed an underground factory where prisoners assembled parts without knowing their purpose. The news that their sentences would never be reduced led to a mass breakout of the inmates.

Description
Narkina 5 is a small water moon that orbited the gas giant Narkina. The surface is mostly covered with water, but there are rocky islands, bays, mesas, lakes, and beaches with vast canyons and withered trees.
The moon's lakes and rivers were rich in small fish, which drew fishermen of many species here, including Keredians. However, by 5 BBY the prison complex built by the Empire had irreparably polluted the waters: catches declined, which caused discontent among the fishing communities. In the same year Cassian Andor, arrested and convicted on the planet Niamos, was brought to Narkina 5; the prisoners were held on flooded levels and used in clandestine manufacturing.
